Over the years, the company experienced significant growth, relocating to the central location of Kearney, Nebraska, and expanding its manufacturing facilities to accommodate its increasing prominence from 1963 to 1981. Acquired by J.L. Clark Manufacturing Company in 1981, later becoming Clarcor, Baldwin Filters sustained its growth, expanding manufacturing capacity and establishing technical centers for research and testing in Nebraska.

The company's global footprint expanded with new facilities in Europe, Mexico, Australia, China, South Africa, and Morocco. In 1995, Baldwin Filters acquired Hastings Premium Filters, adding a third U.S. manufacturing site and entering the lucrative automotive filtration market. By 2016, Baldwin Filters had solidified its worldwide reputation as a vertically integrated manufacturer renowned for unsurpassed product quality. Simultaneously, their stature as a world-class distribution company was evident, with nearly 1 million square feet dedicated to operations in the Kearney, NE plant alone.
